My theme choice turned into a vase with 3 different circumferences. It is about 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Again my glazes represent the contrasts through out my life. The inside is a purple which i originally thought was going to turn out darker but fired as more of a lavender. I wish i had dipped it in clear after that. The outside is dipped solid yellow with big purple Hawaiian flowers painted strategically on it. The overall affect is very cheery to match my positive personality! 

My lidded wheel is about 4 inches by 2 inches, in the shape of a honey pot. It is short and wide with an inverted knob lid that fits inside the narrowest part of the vase. It is splattered blue and yellow with a clear glaze over the top, showing off the contrasting ideas around each of my projects. It has a smooth texture although the lip is slightly rough and could have been compressed better. 

Although my plates dont match, they go well with my underlying theme, which is contrast. Both plates are about 8 inches in diameter and have a double foot ring. One is yellow and brown, creating an overlapping green color, representing differences in the two colors. The other plate is a light blue and reddish brown, another interesting contrast representing who i am as an individual. While one plate is very smooth, the other has ridges from my fingers imprinted on itself. These plates give a simplistic look at contrast. Plate dedicated to Aladdin Schirmer. 

My choice project a bowl that is 5 inches by 7 inches. It is almost a perfect circle with a small foot ring. Because I made the walls so thin, it is very light, lighter than it looks. I splattered it in turquoise which fired into a very light green. After it was dipped in clear it created a very faded antique look. I can't believe how many times this bowl ended up on the reject shelf, i put a lot of time into it! Overall the piece gives off a simplistic look that i appreciate.
